the odd chamber orchestra orchestration of Rhapsody in Blue - to which i've been referring.

I rehearsed it on the big B-flat, but decided to use the F tuba on the concert, and listening tells me that it was right right choice.

You'll see the single four brass across the back:

1 each: horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba.

Gershwin is cued up here:

Copland Rodeo (complete) and other stuff is on this concert.

That sounds a bad connection somewhere in the recording apparatus, something not plugged in all the way -- I couldn't listen to it that way. I hope they find where that is and get it fixed.

OK...
The stream hasn't been taken down but the NON-corrupted recording has been uploaded. (Their internet was slow at the concert, which caused glitches...)

Here is a no-glitches upload:

If you would like to hear a bit of the first movement of Copland's Rodeo "Buckaroo Holiday" (performed far less than "Hoe-Down")

Here it is. FatBastard (moved to the patrons' right) was blowing into the back of the curtain into the top corner of the proscenium, so he's slightly muffled, but still comes through, I suppose...

The tuba sounds great with the other brass. Thanks for linking to the better recording and queuing it up nicely.
