Nice. That's late 1960s? What is the "M"?

It's funny to see the sharp keel on it. My Bb 186 with a 29xx serial has a friendlier bottom bow guard; maybe that goes with the removable bell.

I have two Mirafones with serial numbers. Admittedly quite a small sample. The older one is 4 digits, and the newer is 5. No letters. Not a big deal, but I wonder if the M goes with an importer or something. The Tuba Exchange gets special serials, right?
