Well, I bid on this stuff and won a few things, but did not get the Amati or the other "classic 800 series" which ended up being a small 3v Chinese BBb.

They both went for $67 plus buyer's premium and tax. I wasn't really comfortable bidding more than that.

I did get a pBone, a couple of baritones, and a cornet to mess around on.

My first auction (I am an avowed eBay "Buy-It-Now"-er). Exhilarating!
