Some cursory searching of this maker on the trumpet forum points towards them being made by Lausman(n) ca. late 1940s postwar.

And sorry i'm too lazy to recall exactly how i posted pictures when i did... (undoubtedly involves logging into something i logged into long enough ago even odds i forgot ye olde passworde.
So i sent 'em on to @arpthark, slept and tuba christmased, and paraded, and am enjoying Taco Johns on my way home.

Hmmm...
HornGuys apparently sell CNC replicas of Lausmann mouthpieces.

Will i find anything else? is it referring to mica, the shiny flaky crystals occasionally found in rocks?
Or is there some other clever branding or wordplay going on?
I actually think it is a pretty good mouthpiece.
