Ohio to NYC and Back for TubaChristmas

Post by tylerferris1213 »

Hello everyone! A friend and I are making the trip out to New York City for the 50th anniversary of TubaChristmas! Shipping tubas nowadays is expensive, so I thought I'd let everyone know that, depending on the item, I could possibly bring something with me to or from New York City. I'm always happy to help a member of the low brass community!

Is anyone else from here going to NYC for this? If so, I'd love to say hi!

I'll be there. Look for the 6 foot 8 guy with a tiny British baritone with a removable bell.

I promise I'll be the only person there that matches that description
Yep, I'm Mark

If I were going I'd make a similar claim as to a 5'2" skinny blonde with a great big tuba -- but likely there are far more of those than 6 foot 8 guys.

Oh, and tofu, when you said you lived "in the city" you forgot to capitalize properly. You know, The City. I lived upstate for 14 years.

Good luck with Craiglist. Last I checked, it was overrun with ads for dirt bikes that included thousands of buzzwords in the ad so that they appear in any search result.

If you add "-motorcycle" to the search it removes that garbage!

We're getting close to leaving! We depart on the 8th and will be driving back on the 11th if anyone needs stuff moved over a few states.
