Here is Mirafone 182 in great shape! Folks have described this model as a large 3/4, slender 4/4, or a 7/8 size tuba. Take your pick. This one is in ready-to-play shape. Valves and slides all work well. NICE playing horn. Original case is what used to be called a Jacob Winter case. ABS hard case with wheels, also in great shape. Bargain pricing at $3000 + shipping. It is a cool horn that I wish I needed, but I need to keep the peace here. Please help me.

This plus a Superfine bag and you'd be set for a very long time. I wish Bort Jr was either bigger or more interested in tuba (give him a break, he's 5!)... Oh hell, I'm just looking for an excuse for ME to buy it.

If memory serves, this is the predecessor to the 282 (redesigned the leadpipe entry). The 282 is a great tuba, and I've wanted one for years. If I didn't have a room full of tubas (and an empty tuba fund), I'd love to pick up this 182. If it is typical of the 182/282 line (they are usually very consistent), someone will get a winner at a very reasonable price.
