Also crossed my radar and i am curious...

My impression (probably unfounded) is Lignatone is a high end Cerveny make?

I think they have to be related. I've seen some Lignatones that are identical in every way to cerveny


I'd be interested in this horn, but then I think about how the cerveny 641 Eb is one of the worst horns I've ever played, and this one looks like it could be related to it

Thin tone, stuffy low range, questionable intonation

It is possible then older ones are better than the new ones

I have one of these that I'm getting a 5th valve added. Huge low range but definitely needs the 5th valve. The high range is nice and the intonation is pretty solid. I paid way less for mine, so it will be a nice experimental horn. I just had surgery and can't use my right arm for quite a while so this project is on hold. I'm looking forward to getting this done though. It should be a fun little horn.
