Happy birthday to our favorite company in Waldkraiburg, Germany!
MIRAPHONE — October 13, 1946
Since December of 1979, I have always had a Miraphone tuba to play. Some were issued to me by a school or the military. Some were (or are) owned by me. I love this company not only for its products but also because of how it chooses to serve its customers. It is also very cool that it is a successful, employee-owned cooperative.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Miraphone!
Happy Birthday, Miraphone!

"The company" has not always been as well-liked as have consistently been "the products".
I'm pretty sure that the person currently running it (Christian Niedermaier) and the people he has working with him (such as Eva Staudinger, et al) are just about the best "faces" that Miraphone has ever had.

Wow, great coincidence, I have barely played/practiced this year (maybe 5 times) due to being very busy at work and lockdown, but earlier today played my Miraphone Norwegian Star for 10 minutes ‘just because.’ Made me remember how much I like that tuba. Am starting to think it’s the favourite tuba I have ever owned. Happy Birthday Miraphone

Every company needs an Eva Staudinger. It's hard to find someone more willing to go the extra mile than her.bloke wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 12:25 pm "The company" has not always been as well-liked as have consistently been "the products".
