You saw the picture of my friend (in his 80's, now) who copied the trombone male connector for me.
He's a great bassoonist and all the bassoonists go visit him (in the middle of nowhere) to have their bassoons adjusted, repaired, modified, and enhanced.
Here's a picture of him from the early 1960's (pre-Beatlemania).
If you can make out the name on the stand, you can see that he was the band leader, and stole the band's name from Sam Butera's (Louie Prima's back-up) band, "The Witnesses".
