Resurrecting this -- just to comment that I have an exact one of those in my living room right now, dent free, feels new, and was wondering what it would be worth. The owner (my NStar friend) does not want to sell it (and it is physically too big for me anyway,) but I'd like to be able to tell him what it might be worth. He has something like six different tubas in his garage. Is 83 and unlikely to play any but the Star again, but you know how it is: the stable stays intact until death do us part. Sometimes I have to carry his Star back to his car for him after quartet, and glad to do it.

I believe when you sell on Reverb, you can select a "business" name, even if you are an individual. So this is likely just one person selling their tuba who came up with a silly name for it.
