I like how they butchered the brace to make it fit, but then still used a zip tie and a hose clamp.

That’s one of them thar adjust-bul ree-ceeverz. ‘Murkan or Eyor-o shank, don’t matter none. Just tighten that thar hose clamp ‘til she fits raht!

You may want to rethink that. This is an artisanal product.
It almost looks like random markings, but a sort of similar decoration is visible on the exterior in the first picture.

So, the bell’s been rolled out after somebody did the Mexican Hat Dance on it. Gotta hand it to them. Certainly did improve the overall cosmetics!

It would be interesting, assuming a mouthpiece fits well and they are no leaks, if it ends up being better than the original lead pipe!

Well, it is now a “floating” lead pipe, for added resonance. And it appears to be pure copper, so no red rot! After all, no zinc, no de-zincification!
