shipping an empty hard case

Post by LeMark »

anyone here ever shipped an empty hard case? It's a wood case, fairly small (piggy size)
no wheels.

Thinking of just taping some paper to the outside of it get a shipping quote.

might arrive in slightly better shape with a layer of the 1"-bubbles bubble wrap and stretch-wrap over everything (leaving the handle exposed).

Yes. Wrapped it in shrink-wrap type stuff and off it went. No other packaging needed.

If only stretch wrap, maybe at least put bubble wrap over the latches, hinges, feet, and wheels before pulling stretch wrap around it
