Late 1940 York (Carl Fisher bought York in December) 702 (3v front action) with a York Master 4v valve set (thank you to that kind hearted person). It came to me in sad shape: 3 bows cut in half (ease dent repair?) and pistons that you could see the horizontal movement. Then again, in good shape would have been outside my means.
Warning: Things in mirror (bell) are smaller (18”) than they appear.
She’s not the prettiest, but she’s more fun to play than I deserve.

Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC
Nice York! I really like old tubas and am glad that you rescued her!
I have a York Monster EE flat that served me very well as my bass tuba. I gave it to my father and he loved the York (and played it well). When he passed away (many years ago) I got the York back, I keep saying it is like having my father's sword!
best,

First and foremost, me and my Hagen.
Next up is my Helicon, built by the late Harvey Hartman.
While it's not the best photo, here's me with my Zo "Tiny Dragon".
