From this perspective, it looks sort of like a knockoff of a short 4/4 York/Holton style frame. ie. 32 inches x 19 inches.

So last night the marching band held a preview show. The marching tubas sounded like fat Kazoo's!!! So horrible that my wifes first comment was "the new tubas sound awful!" Now some of it is the students under developed embochure; But, these are the same three students that played sousaphones last season, that sounded full and rich. The same three that play the Jupiter tubas in concert band, which sound fantastic in their auditorium. So I'm very biased against the marching tubas.
