I have one of these and pretty sure I remember that it’s from 1924, too. It has the original neck and articulated bit. The one on fb looks to have the original neck, but a modified single bit. Mine does not have the added plate soldered on the bell. I wonder what that’s about. I’m thinking this one has been painted gold… maybe?

Cool horn, have a similar one in silver, and am intrigued by the zig zag mouthpiece bit, wondering where such a thing could be found? I use a king bit and have a hard time getting the mouthpiece where I want it.

Almost reached out to the seller about this. Then realized I still have my 2165 build to pay for. Looks nice-ish, but I wonder about the valves.
