FS: Miraphone Norwegian Start (Eb)

Post by jplynd »

Purchased this horn a few years ago and at the time I thought I was going to be doing more chamber playing than I have been. Its just been sitting on the shelf for too long and I could use the cash so I'm parting ways with it. Its a great example of a Norwegian Star. I've used it in solo work, brass quintets, and even a wind ensemble rehearsal when my CC was in the shop. Hope it gets more use with someone new than it has gotten with me!

Horn is located in Brooklyn, NY and will come with a miraphone gigbag.
Price is $8,500

I have a variety of mouthpieces available too. I was using a PT-64 with the horn.
Would really prefer not to ship because I don't have a hard case but i can meet a serious buyer a few hours away from NYC.

Incredible tubas. I had a chance to play mine back to back with a Willson Eb, and the sound was richer, and the valves were lighter. Both are AMAZING, but I think if I had to choose all over again, I would still choose the NS
