WTB: Helleberg Sear American Shank mouthpiece in good condition

Post by TriStateFans »

WTB: Helleberg Sear American Shank mouthpiece in good condition. No other variants, just the one by Walter Sear please.

I played one on the field in drum corps and in college, but over the years it has "gone into hiding".

Thank you.

Ken in NE Missouri.

You must think pretty lowly of the people here. Knock this nonsense off.

Leaving this here as evidence of another (probably the same) scammer.

BTW by "in good condition" I mean in any condition good enough to get accurate measurements off of. I'm planning on having it reproduced in better materials.

Heck, I'd even "rent" one for long enough to have it scanned and measured by somebody who could reproduce it.

Thanks!

I'd definitely be interested in the final product.

I know of a couple folks on here who have these. I sold one within the past couple years. Maybe they'll chime in or message you directly.

Just a brief aside, but be aware that Walter had several different mouthpieces that were "Helleberg Sear" over the years with different shanks, cups and sizes. To get an idea you might want to use the forum search function. What I'm saying is that if you do find one it may not be the one you liked. It might be best to track that one down after all!
