Hard case and gig bag

Post by austincomerf95 »

Hi All,

Hard case and gig bag for sale. Both fit a Pt-10 or similar horn very well. Both are located in Boston. Happy to arrange local pickup, drive a small distance, or ship at buyers expense.

Hard case- $200 OBO
Interior is in fantastic shape. No tears of the fabric and the padding still has a lot of life in it. The case hasn't been used very much other than putting the tuba under the bus/things like that over the years. Never any damage to the horn. Sturdy handles and the latches work well. The exterior of the case has some scratches (and some pealing stickers) as can be seen in the pictures in google drive link.

Gig bag- $200 OBO
I promise I'll run a lint roller over it before you buy to get the dog hair off.

Nice snug fit on the horn and not a heavy case. Not sure what the brand is. Sturdy handles and side strap. The backpack straps work fine, but one of them is fraying a bit, so might want to re-sew it down the line. I haven't noticed any deterioration since I started using it though.
Zipper is also wonky at the very bottom. It has never impacted ability to get the horn in or out of the case and has never seemed like it would be an issue, but if you open it allll the way, the teeth get slightly off track in the last couple inches. (see pictures) I've had this fixed on cases before and it was cheap and easy, but I just haven't bothered with this one because it hasn't been an issue.

Message with any questions.

Did you put those letters on that case?

I could swear I owned that case sometime in the past (maybe until just a few years ago...??)

If it's the same case, I didn't put the letters on there either.

I didn't put the letters on there, but have had the horn for about 10 years, so maybe just look pretty similar?
Guy before me put them on, I believe and he had the horn for about 20 years I think

I'm old, and I think I had that case over ten years ago. I don't remember who (??) I ended up giving it to who bought what (??) horn in it.
