Nailed it. Aside from occasionally attending conferences, I can't imagine paying ITEA anything.
Interesting discussion, but my experience has been quite different - Ben and Ken at the ITEA Journal have been delighted to publish my historical research, which I engage in because I enjoy it (as a hobby), and love to share what I've learned with others who might be interested. Those guys have been a joy to work with, and I have no professional need to "publish," nor am I in any danger of "perishing"!

Does anybody know if T.U.B.A. was trademarked? Or if there was legal ownership of it that was subsumed in the merger with ITEA?
