TO YOUR "SEATING" COMMENT:
To my ears, the (often: unison) tuba/bass trombone - in the Wedding March - seems to line up very nicely, and in most all aspects (balance/style/note-lengths/timing/etc.) ...and we were probably sitting thirty feet apart from each other.
As long as it lines up when necessary, no worries. And the seating arrangement you described makes perfect sense for all the reasons given.

And yes, I would very much like to perform a third party audit of those audio files.

I don't feel as though I have permission to upload and link my recordings of the radio station's internet-stream re-broadcast, but...

since the orchestra itself live-streamed this - designated: PUBLIC - on facebook...

I guess it's OK to link this recording of a PARTIAL run-though (one of the rehearsals) of the Mendelssohn overture HERE:

This run-through - by the orchestra - was pretty good, but (as one would expect) the performances were slicker.
