Re: instruments setting out - at the ready
Our bedroom has much better acoustics (i.e., a 15 foot ceiling that is not parallel to the floor) than our normal music room. I'd been schlepping my horn upstairs to practice recently because it's more fun there. Mid-last week I stopped bringing it back downstairs when I was done. So far, no complaints from my wife yet.
