I'll add more info later, but I technically got my 4097 (PT20) in April 2024. I just got my King BBb 1281 "Pit" tuba back too!
I no longer own the King 1241 BBb with upright bell only. I'll include the one of the photos I happen to have later since it was "new" to me. Even though I forgot when exactly I got that tuba.
EDIT
3+1 tuba on the left: "The Triumphonic" L.P. Class A 26189. The eBay add said it was made in the 1930's. I think I got it around 2010-11 ish? But I think I actually started using it around 2012? Maybe? My first tuba!
Has an Euphonium medium shank and not a small/British tuba shank. It plays so horrendously flat so I handmade extensions to play it in the key of D natural. It's not a great horn but at least it's functional. I call it the D tuba. The only other D tuba that I am aware of was Rogor Bobo's cut down Miraphone 184 CC with a Besson Eb bell.
http://bomaestro.blogspot.com/2021/04/?m=1 I am sure Bobo's tuba is definitely better than mine
Middle silver tuba: A B&S 4097 (PT20) CC with a floating lead pipe and adjustable/removable thumb ring. It is a brand new tuba. It was completely assembled in Germany around December 2023. I didn't get the tuba until April 2024. Although I could've have gotten a lot sooner if I did request for a test in raw brass. But, other than having to use alternative fingerings and having to pinch/sag certain spots for tuning, it plays and sounds wonderfully! Really glad I have it! This would technically be the 4th tuba.
Very tall tuba on the right: A King 1281 BBb "Pit" tuba. A gift from a great friend. I'm going to play on it more since I finally was able take it to get cleaned up and operational! I've read that it only needs 1 (sousaphone) bit. But with more play testing I'll see if I end up using 2 bits instead. It's more comfortable with 2 bits and the horn seems to be really sharp with just one. More testing is required. This would be the 3rd tuba
White horn in-between the King "pit" tuba: A Nuvo jHorn that my sibling got for me. I should use it more since the intention was to practice while on my bed

. It has the C tuning slides equipped. I got it in sometime before NERTEC 2024 (Go GMU and GMUTEE).
Black plastic Euphonium on the bottom: Was given permission to have it from the previous owner. I will eventually get it functional again. Needs a mouthpiece shank, a portion of the lead pipe, and some valve stems and buttons. I got it in 2024.
Pictured below is my Second tuba: A beat up King 1241. I think I got it around 2014-2015? I sold it since I now have the B&S CC and didn't need 2 similar sized tubas. Same photo as the one I shared 2 years ago when I joined this forum back on February 09, 2023! Happy 2 year anniversary to me!
