Serial #: 91725

Bell Diameter 14”, Bore Size .605, Height 31”.


“THE / Buescher / ELKHART / IND” on banner within floral design on bell. “1” and “3” stamped on first and second valves, respectively. “2 / LP / 91725” stamped on second valve. TE00976 is serial number 91726.

There is a version of this tuba that, instead of a that plain loop right after the valves, has a second main tuning slide in that spot. Easy tiny F tuba conversion fodder by swapping out the leadpipe… back when people would do such things…

The one on 10/10/23 looks like an Epoch. Super cool.

They do have one from 1911…

Anyway, sorry for the side bar. Buescher made some interesting instruments.

Buescher was among the long list of great American brass musical instrument manufacturers...
