I think I remember hearing someone say it was somewhat stuffy, but I don't know. Sure is one of the best looking f's on the market.

Well, I hope not! Is there a use for a stuffy piston valve tuba? NOT IN MY HOUSE!

I have both at the showroom (finally) and can say that most people are likely going to prefer the solo. I wouldn't necessarily describe the symphony as stuffy, so much as the sound is more spread and as a result, fast articulation can be muddy. This is less of an issue if you're not playing more technically demanding music.
Either way, most people who have compared either of the California models to the Berg, which is our best selling F, find it more free-blowing and overall a better playing experience.

@kermit since you were so quick to reply (thanks!), Whats the shipping turn around looking like in the continental US if I were to buy this instrument online now.
