Putting up for sale my Miraphone 1291 CC. I purchased this horn used in 2008 (I believe I’m just the 2nd owner) and it’s gotten me through school and my playing career so far. I hate to sell it but I’ve purchased another horn and need to make room in the stable.
This has been an excellent horn that has served me extremely well. I’m planning to have it serviced/cleaned prior to sale. It shows its age but the valves and slides all move effortlessly. The inside of the bell has some scarring from previous dent repair and it has some scratches from inserting/removing mutes. Nothing that impacts the sound/playability. I also had the thumb ring bar removed but I do still have it and I can see about having it put back on if needed.
Comes with a 4 year old blue Miraphone gig bag in excellent shape. Not interested in shipping at this time and prefer local pickup or meeting within a few hours of Minneapolis, MN. I’ll be traveling to Dallas, TX over Thanksgiving and would be happy to meet with anyone then as well.
