If this particular tuba plays like the typical 1291 BBb, someone will be getting a great playing tuba at a reasonable price. I played one for a long time, and it not only had a big, open low range, it also had an easy, clear high range, and the intonation was excellent. It can play beautifully, and it can be a Thor's hammer. The 1291 ought to be on any serious shopper's list for testing when looking for a rock solid piston BBb tuba.
