Opinions on either or specifically, if you've played both, how they compare.

The Super G is my daily driver on my Rudy Meinl 4/4. It's a great piece. Not too heavy or too light and the horn stays very consistent from top to bottom, great response in any register. Sound is warm but clear without sacrificing overtones. Doesn't get thin or muddy in the extreme ranges.
Think of it as a Laskey 30G but with a different rim.
I played the original MF3 years ago, and I know there are differences between it and the 3B, so I couldn't make a direct comparison.
I can directly compare it to a PT-88 (the Super G is a little more easy to control because the cup diameter is a slightly smaller), I think the color of sound is a little more balanced, too. I got a surprisingly bright sound from the 88.
Compared to the Stofer Geib Air Corps, the SGAC was tubby sounding when I used it.
Against the Olka RC1M, I felt the sound didn't remain as stable when getting into the higher registers... the low register on the RC1M was a little more aggressive and punchy.
I know the Super G was designed with a rotor contrabass tuba in mind. YMMV.
Happy testing!
