Baltimore Brass Thank You!

After 45 years my Alexander 163's 1st valve linkage broke. Sabina at Baltimore brass (woodwind repair specialist, she said and I agreed that this looked more like a woodwind repair) repaired it and it feels like the other valve linkages (very important to me). The job that she did looks much like the other linkages. So a BIG THANK YOU to Sabina at Baltimore Brass!

Mark,
Would you please post a picture of the repair and tell me more about the original failure? Might be something new to me and learning something new is always a good thing. Is that the same Alex you had when we met for the first time in '76/'77?

There are select few companies I do business with and have no hesitation - Baltimore Brass is one of them.

It is- I knew Mark when he got it all those years ago, and can't imagine him without it now. The sound of that Alex was one reason I bought mine and later had the valves overhauled.

This is the Alexander that I had when we first met.

I picked up my tuba following the ultrasonic cleaning. I asked them to install these Polish coins into the buttons.
Great job, great fit!
