Stork BTR mouthpiece

Has anyone had any first-hand experience with the
Stork BTR (Butterfield) mouthpiece? I'd read that Don Butterfield played a modified King 26, but this one's spec seem significantly different, at least in cup diameter. It costs more than I'd want to spend on a King 26 variant, but I'm curious about it. Thanks.

Yeah, the MF1 and MF2 were based on the King 26 according to a post by Mr. Finn on the old site, quoted below. I tried both, but ended up preferring the sound of the old King I acquired. I don't know if Don Butterfield used other mouthpieces, but I was curious if this one was based on his modified 26.
The MF1 (my first design) was greatly influenced by the King 26, both inside and out. I made my rim slightly wider and rounder, and the throat a bit larger with a shorter venturi. The old Kings were pretty thick-walled already, but I beefed up the exterior a bit anyways, around the throat in particular. The MF2 is the same as the MF1, but with a narrower rim. (Narrower than the MF1, still rounder than the King.)
The MF1 and MF2 don't seem to be
available any more, but it's possible he'd make one on special order. Mike Finn mouthpieces show up for sale on the used sites only very rarely, and I couldn't even say the last time I saw an MF1 or MF2.

Mike Finn is a legit nice guy. I would contact him and inquire about the 1 or 2 if I were interested....

Almost 10mm rim... that's pretty darn big.

Oh I don’t know anything about that mouthpiece, but if the cup diameter is 30mm (??) and the rim diameter is 10mm (you report), such a mouthpiece can still be cut out of 2-inch round stock.

Joe,
From Stork’s website,
https://storkcustom.com/tuba/
BTR rim size 9.995mm
Can be cut for sure, but when my average rim size is about 7.5mm, almost a third bigger would be quite different.
