Buescher euphonium

I have a friend who bought a Buescher euphonium. He wants to know the history, info, etc. I didn’t have a clue. I thought I would see if anyone here knew. A Google search of Buescher euphoniums only turned up the 3-valve model in the Tuba Exchange’s historical instrument list. I have included my friend’s message and the picture he sent.
