I currently own a very lovely full Gold Brass PT-15 (5099/2/wg-l) F tuba, previously owned (and customised) by Mike Johnson. It’s not getting a whole lot of use currently so I am toying with the idea of trading it for a large orchestral BBb tuba.
It’s in very good condition, with a custom lead pipe and comes with tuning slides at 440 and 442 as well as 1 step and 2 step 5th valve slides.
Would consider the following BBb tubas:
Melton 195/196/197
Rudy Meinl 5/4
Miraphone Hagen 5/4 or 6/4
Other similar tubas
Not in any rush to swap as I still really like this tuba, just putting some feelers out there!
