Used Yamaha YBB-321 "Holton" 4/4 BBb tuba for sale. Yamaha makes these for Holton, and they are the exact same tuba as the YBB-321.

Tuba is in good mechanical condition and "OK" cosmetic condition, depending on how shiny you need your horn to be. The lacquer finish is mostly gone, but it has a nice mid-century "old school", worked-in patina to it. No raw brass stinky hands, but then again I use a playing stand so your experience may vary.
Many small dings, scratches, evidence of prior repairs and one medium fairly shallow dent on the bottom bow. Unlike most used tubas of this model that you see for sale, this one does not have the valve knuckles all banged up (except some moderate damage on the first valve knuckle on the player's side, pictured), nor does it have the outer branch caved in or flattened as many of these do.
Valves and slides all work as they should. The third valve slide is a bit of a chore to get in and out, but this is common on this model since that slide loop is soo long and relatively unprotected - Keep it lubed and it's fine.
I estimate this tuba to be 35-40 years old. I bought this used a couple of years ago and my excellent local tech did a lot of work on this to get it up to my high standards of playability, including a custom off-the-bell leadpipe brace (look closely and you will see some "donor" parts from other brass instruments!).
Plays great throughout the range, low end is easy and full. I played the best solo performance of my life on this horn, so I am a bit sad to part with it. It definitely has that magic you feel when you have an exceptional instrument in your hands.
