Cerveny BBb - help with model and age

Hello all. A few weeks ago I walked into Mike Nye's Instrument shop because he had a Cerveny tuba. I went to see it as I have never seen one in person. It is a 5/4 BBb four rotar tuba. Once I played it I knew I liked it a lot. Today I purchased it for a good deal. It has dents and scratches but plays well.

How do I tell how old it is and what model it is?

Some Cervenys have had the model by the name but mine does not. It says V.F. Cerveny - CSSR - HRADEC KRALOVE

Here are some pics:

Any information is greatly appreciated and thanks for looking.

Wow, from the engraving, linkage, and the tulip bulb 2nd valve slide, I would guess at least a horn made in the 60's if not older

CSSR for Cekoslovenska Socialisticka Republika was used between 1960 and 1990. I guess Mark ist right. The valve mechanism (Trommelfederdruckwerk) was build until the 1960/70s.

It's technically Cerveny's version of a Kaiser tuba. (5/4? 6/4? whatever your preference there).

Looks like a 601 with an 18"bell. Let's call it a 11/8 tuba.

Thank you for the replies. I thought it might be a 601 from the 60s. I enjoy how it plays.
