Martin front action Eb Kirksville, Missouri

Post by York-aholic »

It looks like their "Monster" size to me. I had a BBb version of this awhile back, nice playing horns, this looks to be in good shape.

Agree. It was in nice condition. I think it was listed at $1500...

Back up for $1,250. Seems like a good deal.

Assuming the valves are in good shape, this is a decent price, and from a good era for Martins, too.

It's about a 4hr drive from me. Why must stuff like this come up when I'm trying to downsize?!

You just sold two martin Bbs. I don't see why you can't have an Eb and a BBb :teeth:

Yeah but among those BBbs, was a Monster Eb as well. Just couldn't justify keeping it with how little it was getting played. Still somehow doesn't make it any less tempting when a new one pops up, though.

I kind of promised myself a ways back, no more big Eb tubas with only 3 valves.
