Thank goodness that we children of the 1950's were NEVER exposed to anything totally nuts...

I owned this 45 rpm recording (and quite a few more) BEFORE I was 1-year-old.
I could PLAY 33's, 45's, and 78's on the record player MYSELF by the time I was 2-1/2 or so...
(I also knew to flip the needle over for the 78's.)

My 12-years-older brother built me a record player (masonite cabinet, 5" speaker, little tube amplifier, salvaged record changer) when I was about 4 years old.

You can play that noise for your own kid at home every day if you want, just keep it out of the public school curriculum!! :slap:

"Do not say, 'Why were the old days better than these?' For it is not wise to ask such questions."

Gerald McBoing-Boing was one of my faves as a kid, as was Beany and Cecil (another bizarre cartoon).
