I have played both the 184 C tubas with the 90-degree sharp angled crook between the 4th rotor and main slide, and

I have played those that look like the one pictured (link from Reverb).

I owned two of the 90-degree ones...I had to pull out the main slide fairly far.
I've played the style shown in the picture...I had to push the main slide in most all the way.

thats my hometown and I sent the seller a note, will post here when I hear back (probably will have a friend go play test it I am thinking of downsizing)

I have not played the style from the ad, but I agree with Bloke's assessment of the 90 degree crook. Mine plays great but the MTS is out pretty far. It doesn't bother me but may bother some.
