Sounds good. That helicon has a nice tone. Does the 4th valve reeeeelly help getting down low on the Eb?

It is the same fourth valve set up as on any other non-compensated four valve tuba. The pedal Eb is open/no valves.

With those buttons, it is Mardi Gras every day.
I will be using it in a second line procession in a wedding next month. Apropos, methinks.

My good friend, band mate, and long time piano/sax man (retired Navy bandsman) Don Carroll surprised me with this spruced up version:
