I'm closing in on 70 years old and have a beautiful King 4 rotary valve tuba that has gotten too big to schlep anywhere. it's raw brass, and one of the earlier ones with the straight up and down valves ( not the later slightly slanted valves). It has the original bell front and a Kanstul raincatcher and plays Really well. I'd like to trade it for a VMI 101. There are no current dents and the valves were done shortly before I got it. It has always drawn alot of comments about the sound and pitch and if I was going to do any more orchestral playing it would absolutely be staying here. So if anyone is interested please shoot me a PM or email and we can exchange pictures etc. All the best to everyone, Ed

I've got nothing to trade, but sure would like to see it.
My dream has always been to have an American-made rotary tuba. If I can't own the dream, I at least want to look at it!

If Ed owned this tuba, it’s a good tuba.
