Not sure this is legit. Beautiful horn. Price is suspiciously low.

Wow, and with free shipping? Normally, I would walk away from this, and quickly.

However, if anyone wants to give Lynita a chance, you might try contacting Dillon to see whether they have a sales record for this SN from 2009 and whether the customer was indeed a Lynita F Constas. Of not, perhaps Matt Walters might remember her? Not a whole lot of walk-in sales for tubas to women, so she might have stuck in his head. Probably not, but worth a phone call if you are interested in risking $1,800.00 of your hard-earned scratch.
Someone Claiming to be Lynita F. Constas wrote:I am selling the Miraphone BBb Tuba 186 model, serial number 9080290. It was manufactured in 2009 and purchased from Matt Walters at Dillon Music in NJ. I am the original and only owner. The wear is minimal as I have only used it a few times since purchase. Since I hardly use it, I prefer it to be in the hands of someone who can enjoy it.

They are also selling 2 Mark VI saxophones for $1,100 or so. It's a scammer or those are all stolen. Those saxes go for $5000+. Don't take the chance guys!

Yeah, seems fishy.

The combination of silverware with a few instruments makes one pause to think that maybe this is simply some clearing out estates, but then the claim that they bought the 186 from Dillon’s back in 2009 (and it was still probably $7000 back then) and are willing to sell at a huge loss for no particular reason seems very odd.

This was a scam.
I bought the tuba.
The seller disappeared from the website called Esty.
Refund issued.
No harm, no foul.

I suspected as much. I am sorry you were scammed, but at least you got your money back. And this was somewhat instructive for all of us, and the scam ad has been pulled from Etsy.

Thank you. I took a chance. The website Esty was very proactive with regard to the refund.
