One of the most beautiful Christmas songs is the piece: The First Noel.
Here in an arrangement by Lennie Niehaus from the suite for tuba quartet: Christmas Jazz Favorites.
Played and recorded on my F-Cimbasso

a wonderful recording...and - if J_ _ _ _ _-made - you are deserving of even more of my admiration, Herr Ridder.

No blatting.
No cracked notes.
No octave lower for no reason.
Sounds like an actual musical instrument.
That makes the bass trombone players sore!

Thank you! It's not made by J.....o. It's a simple one from a no name factory in China. ;-)

It was a mess... i was ready with the recording. But i had a short circuit in the system. The only voice i saved was Part 4. I had only 15 minutes to play the other 3 parts again... Hurray
But thank you very much! The first version was nicer

IF a baritone saxophone and a contrabassoon are musical instruments, then these certainly are, as well (even those which might be a bit more challenging to play, YET with Herr Ridder completely and beautifully overcoming those challenges).
Mostly (again), what you're hearing (in Ridder's video) is human musical ACCOMPLISHMENT...and I hope Herr Ridder's students are appreciative of the resource at hand.
