York Style Tuba Duett

Post by Kontrabasstuba »

Here is another video with my York/Adams BBb tuba and my Eastman 836 C tuba. I played the duet from the book:
- Low Etudes for Tuba by Phil Snedecor No. 2.

The mouthpiece is a Franz Windhager No.10

I didn't know the Windhager's came with such a simplified numbering system? I thought a meeting with Windhager meant working through a suitcase full of 1,000 combinations of rim, cup, and shank options...?

Yes... 4 is the smallest (I think) and 10 the largest. You have to choose the sice before. Than you can try what you want. The result is always super!
