The good ol' Mid 80's student model 186. I heard somewhere these play pretty good, sometimes better than their nickel silver trimmed brothers.

That's probably like the one the university lent me. It's tempting, since it's local and I don't have a Bb tuba at hand, but I really should be saving my money for a 188.
