Does anyone recognize the maker or source for the pictured MP case. I assume they are no longer made, since I have not been able to find anything on them.
One thought is that it may have been made by Dolly Bags, though I don't recall her working with leather. But I have been curious as to who made this, and where the heck I got the ones I have (as these are my favorite MP cases).
Thanks,
Mike

How many would you like to have?
My first thought is that Tim Rice might be on board to duplicate it for you, if you wanted several, but of course I can’t speak for him.

Re: Mouthpiece Case Question for TFFJ
I think that is a Dolly pouch. And she did make bags in leather, for a significant upcharge, and it was very thin, like glove leather. I nearly got one until I saw a leather Dolly Bag that had caught and torn on something. I moved to Cronkhite at that time, which was about 2002.
This pouch has the pebbled leather she used, in her preferred burgundy color, and the nylon cloth she used (not Dupont Cordura but a good facsimile) looked just like that, too.
Of course, these are two-decade-old memories, so they are just as likely to be wrong as they are to be right.
YMMV.

Thanks very much! I'm glad the mystery is solved.
These are really nice cases (I mean, they are really terrible, in case you have one laying around).
Mike
