Luckily for me, I had another gig during Beethoven week.
Luckily for Jackson, TN, they were able to experience this.

Evidently, one of them didn't read the concert dress memo. Wrong color, but thankfully triple-stitched. That's asking a lot from the fabric.

Some people – as an assumed group – demand to be treated like everyone else, but - when it comes to individuals – many apparently do not.
My guess is that the self-appointed group spokespersons assume that they speak for many more than they actually do.
Another observation of mine is that “like everyone else“ is - defacto/many times - a lower level.
