I have been educated - by David Richoux - to the fact that Don Butterfield supplied the tuba audio.
I wonder if this is going to trigger all of the "music educators" who decided to be triggered - rather than chuckle - at the youth-orchestra/automobile commercial.

One of my favorite theme song lyrics;
"Patty's only seen the sites a girl can see from Brooklyn heights"

That "Andrews Sisters-esque" trio was TOPS.
They actually inserted jazz-trumpet-type "articulations" into their phrasing - EVEN THOUGH they were singing lyrics.
This sitcom (exception) was actually filmed in New York City.

What was the name of the actor who played the father? He looks familiar but I can't place him. He might have done a lot of commercial voice overs, too.
The "identical cousins"(both played by Patty Duke) was kind of a stretch but "everyone gotta have a schtick".

I recently saw him play a shady-character locksmith on a Perry Mason episode.
He wasn't convincing...too "not-particularly-shady".
