Jay McAllister's Martin CC

With my getting out of repair and mods for the time being, I have no longer any need to keep this legendary horn around any longer, so I'm seeing if there is any interest in the general tuba playing community.
There are photos, as well as great discussion on the horn in this thread:

History as best as I can understand:
-The build of the bugle appears to be a custom build and factory-built CC. Could be a cut, but doesn't appear to be by my eye
-The bell and large side of the bottom bow are the same as a mammoth, from then on, the detentions are slightly smaller than a regular mammoth
-The valve section has been cut at some point. Not sure if it was cut from BBb lengths, low pitch, or some other reason
-Aside from some replacement braces, everything is original
-The valves are not made by Martin, but imported from a European maker (possibly Amati/Cerveny but not sure) and assembled at the factory
-The bell has been trimmed down to it's current diameter
-Unsure of the date of manufacture, (no serial #) but Martin stopped offering rotors as an option mid-20s so it is at least that old
$10,000. Not willing to ship, but willing to drive a few hours or so from central Illinois to meet in person.
Now considering offers, feel free to PM
I'd prefer any perspective buyers to be someone who intends to play the instrument regularly and intends to keep it in its current condition, and does not intend to heavily modify the horn (i.e. ripping off the valve section, using the horn for franken-projects, etc.)
Happy to elaborate or provide any more info to interested parties!
