Okay, here is the first copy of the new setting. It has NOT been played through at all and I am not experienced with writing difficult material for the euphonium, so these may suck. I NEED FEEDBACK, euphers! HELP!

Please download a copy, work through it, and tell me what you think of the ranges and such. It is less stratospheric now. Originally it was just a transcribed French horn part, so the whole book was really friggin' high. Now it seems like it would be a lot more playable, while still being challenging material.

Tuba players, this is much more friendly to BBb and CC players than my original, which is squarely in the F tuba range. This is less unfriendly. Same deal, download a copy, playthrough the part, and give me your feedback.

I will listen to all feedback but may not agree, so don't just whine and say "It's hard." Give me fairly specific info and I will look at incorporating your suggestions if I agree with them.

This is copyrighted material. I am making it donation-ware, so to speak. It is not finalized, but I will post the final version here, as always. If you would like to buy me some coffee for my labor my email is in my profile and can be used for PayPal. Several friends have suggested I publish and sell this book once I have it exactly where I want it. I think I will. The price will eventually be about forty bucks for a hard copy, based on suggestions by some very old friends who used to work for a sheet music publishing house. Get a free copy now, and help me square it away so that it pleases the most people. A suggested donation for this would be $25 if you enjoy and use it.

I have included a TC part for the euph, but it is probably too high in a lot of places for a trumpet doubler. Again, feedback is key, here, so please give me some.

Yay!

Fresh off your last note about it being high for trumpet doublers, I opened it up, checked that the part said Euphonium, took a look, and though, "Well, that's bold, starting out the very first piece with high B and C!"

Then I spotted the bass clef :facepalm2:

Thanks for putting this together.

Yes, the BC part is first up, then TC, then tuba. HAHAHA!!! The file is 117 pages long, each book being 39 pages of tuba-euph goodness. Well, I hope so, at least. As I said, I need some feedback…

Much of this is a stretch for trumpet, though. Sorry about that.

BUMP!

A missing accidental was corrected on page 5 of the tuba part.
