Most vintage Hellebergs in fair condition go for around $300-$350 on ebay. These have been freshened up and replated. The cost below represents what I have in them.

The Hellebergs: (SOLD!!)
These are mouthpieces I bought off ebay. Both mouthpieces were replated under the supervision of Lee Stofer. The main guideline during the process was there would be no alterations in profiles.
The gold plated version came to me with gold plate and the mouthpiece was crisp and excellent – just worn gold plating. I figure it was the original plating as when I bought it and Conn did offer that upgrade. A very rare find… I have not seen a decent helleberg on eBay in years. And never anything in this shape.
The silver mouthpiece had some issues when I bought it. – these were caringly resolved by Lee Stofer. The only visible remaining sign is the exterior grip around the throat area was smoothed out to cover some rough wear back in the day. A few small nicks from light usage over the last few years.

The Conn Special: (This has been sold)
I got the Conn Special from Arnold Jacobs in the mid-70s. I was showing him a recent pawn shop acquisition (a Dr. Young piece) He was interested in it and I could see no real use for it. He traded me the Conn Special. A very cool and rare mouthpiece. Please share info if you have any. Fits in the American receiver. Although it measures larger than the modern Helleberg it fits in my G50 at about the same depth.
