Chris was Tom McGrady's assistant, and now opens a tuba shop just a few miles away.

I got to meet Chris when I bought my new horn from Mack Brass earlier this year while he was still working with them. He was very helpful - meeting me at their warehouse on a Saturday.

Daniel - Thanks for this post, and I’m honored to carry your methods. They’re great!
I appreciate your desire to look out for Tom McGrady, but I left Mack Brass on great terms with him. We discussed my plans at length, and are in fact working together much more than in competition. Tom sells mostly new brass instruments and I run a repair shop. The name of my shop refers to my being a tuba player and specializing in tuba repairs. My support for Mack Brass remains enthusiastic! In fact we may even be sharing a booth together at the next tuba conference in DC. If you happen to be there you should stop by! Yeah, but I'm betting that the repair guy is going to have a better stocked beer fridge than Mack.
