i don't use thumb rings in my other horns but for some reason, this one seems to require one, i find myself pressing the 5th valve without realizing it.

i tried the one from the miraphone 186 since i dont use it but the screw is too large.

or another idea? suggestions for alternatives are appreciated.

I racked my brain to just remember their name.

thnk you... i'll send these to the guy that i let work on my horns and see if he can come up with something. i need to have it cleaned...
